NCF Australia – Over a century of caring for nurses

After more than 100 years of operating as an amalgamation of state branches, NCFA is now a nationally administered organisation.  In late 2016, state branches were closed in Victoria and South Australia and it was decided to rewrite our Constitution to serve a national model for NCFA. Consequently, with the approval of its members, NCFA NSW agreed to close their branch to become NCF Australia, with NCFA members from other states and territories representing their areas on the NCFA Board.

A national model and constitution were accepted at the NCFA General Meeting on 22-23 April 2017. This meant that the NCFA ministry, including its education program and other services to nurses and midwives have been be available throughout Australia.

NCFA  is  registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission(ACNC) as NCFA Ltd(a company limited by  guarantee ) with a new constitution adopted on 2nd October 2023

NCFA is seeking extra Directors willing to share their skills and expertise to lead the organisation.
